One thing that sets Elden Ring apart from other games is the range of enemies it has. There are enemies in the form of rats and giants, but you must also take into account NPC Invaders. These Invaders can be NPCs or players that enter your world and try to kill you.
During the quest “Volcano Manor”, you will have to invade and kill a humanoid NPC called Juno Hoslow. He is an NPC built for fighting and is very focused on taking out the player. In this article, I will show you how to beat Juno Hoslow in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring: How to Defeat Juno Hoslow
Tarnished is introduced to Juno Hoslow when they complete The Volcano Mansion side mission. Juno Hoslow is the third NPC in this side quest that Tarnished must invade. Juno Hoslow may be found at the cottage of the Lofty in the Mountainsides of the Giants area.

Dual-wielding the aforementioned Petal Whip is one of Juno’s main weapons. If struck by her whip, it will inflict harm and may kill you if you’re struck by it only once. To avoid this, strike back as early as possible or avoid the fight to give yourself the best chance at survival.
There’s a Cheese Method to beating Juno Hoslow in Elden Ring. The trick is to go to the wall on your right as you spawn in, then climb until you reach a higher elevation. At this point, Juno Hoslow can’t attack you and you should be able to beat him by shooting arrows, using spells or incantations.
This method will take a long time if you’re not strong enough so you can do the following instead. As soon as you spawn into his world, rush behind him and attack with a light attack. Your weapon should be one of the following:
- Great Thrusting Swords
- Halberds
- Colossal Weapons
- Greatswords
- Greataxes
- Greatswords
- Great Spears
- Great Curved Swords
- Great hammers
Making an attack on Juno Hoslow from the back would result in a backstab, which would shake his confidence. After that moment, attack him repeatedly until he’s dead. Once his stamina is depleted, he can’t get back up again. If you want an extra edge, use Lightning Grease as well.
Once you beat Juno in Elden Ring, you can receive 158 Runes, Hoslow’s Armor, Furlcalling Finger Remedy, Hoslow’s Greaves, Hoslow’s Petal Whip, Hoslow’s Gauntlets, Hoslow’s Helm, and a Rune Arc.
