After you have purchased and placed your first potion, you can place more potions near the previous potion’s star icon. To trigger the potion chain, place another potion in the position where the star of the first potion is. Usually the new potion will be stacked on top of the previous potion. During battle, when the first potion is consumed, this triggers the starred potion without being used. To efficiently use potions, it is best to stack the weakest ones at the bottom and work your way to the best ones placed on top
Each activated potion can apply the effect of one other potion that is placed underneath it, regardless of whether the potion on top has been used up. So even if a potion on top has already been activated, you can get its effect still. You can also use potion belts to utilize your potions effectively. If you have two potions of the same type, the potion you purchased first from the store will trigger first than the others
