House of Dragons brought to us by HBO is a prequel series to the incredibly popular Game of Thrones based on George R R Martin’s “The song of Ice and Fire” series that concluded its last episode on 19 May, 2019. When is the House of the Dragon Episode 2 Releasing?
The events of this show take place 200 years before that of Game of Thrones and is based on portions of “Fire & Blood” by George R. R. Martin. House of Dragons focuses on the Targaryen dynasty, telling us the tale of its rise to glory followed by an epic fall.
The show has been an immediate hit and hot cake for loyal Game of Thrones fans. It follows in the steps of the original show in terms of having a lot of violence, gore and uncensored sex scenes. In fact, some critics say that it may have outdone its predecessor.

The first episode shows Jaehaerys Targaryen losing both his sons to tragedies which ends up leaving the throne without a heir. The Great Council was to decide who would be the future ruler and two of Jaehaerys’ grandchildren were nominated as candidates. Due to the sole advantage of being a male Prince Viserys I is chosen as the future king. The show then focuses on his reign and the power struggles constantly taking place between his brother Daemon and his daughter Rhaenyra.

Fans can finally watch the second episode on 28th August, Sunday approximately at 9pm (ET)/6 pm (PT) on HBO max.
