God of War Ragnarok has plenty of puzzles to solve as you venture forth through the many realms. As you make your way through the Temple of Light to find Groa’s Shrine, you will come across puzzles that you need to solve to keep progressing. One of the puzzles that you will come across here involves two large statues holding shields, and you need to knock them down in a sequence to bring them down. God of War Ragnarok – How to Solve the Temple of Light Statue Puzzle
Before you can use the Light Door at the end of the passage, you will notice two statues on either side, and Atreus will comment on the Twilight Stone on the shield being held by one of the statues. Here we will see how to solve the temple of light statue puzzle in God of War Ragnarok.

Let us start working our way through the puzzle by focusing on the statue on the right side first. At the foot of the statue, you will notice a large green stone. You should hit that stone with your ax or let Atreus use his arrow on it.
After that, use the Blades of Chaos to hold on to the statue’s legs and pull it to the left side. You will see some highlighted markings on the wall behind where the statue was, use the Blades of Chaos to grapple your way to the top.
Now head right and jump across the gap by grappling the object hanging from above. Make your way all around till you reach the opposite side of where the first statue was. You will be directly behind the second statue now.
There is another green marker behind the statue that you need to hit. After hitting it, its wings will be exposed. Use the Blades of Chaos to yank it to the other side.
After the statue shifts, you will find a white marker on its side that you need to hit. After hitting it, you have to shift the statue again so you can hit the shield. Repeat the process to shift it and then use the ax to hit the shield. This will break off the other wing as well.
Before heading down, shift the statue one last time to the left, then make your way down. Now go back to the other side where the first statue is and climb up the highlighted wall again.
This time, head left and face the second statue, you will get a clear view of its shield. Use the ax to ricochet off the shield and break the Light Door, clearing the entryway for Kratos and the gang.
