Genshin Impact 3.0 is scheduled to release late August and it will release the brand new region of Sumeru. Sumeru will not only have its own characters but since it will also release the Dendro element for the first time, we will also have our first Dendro characters from Sumeru. Before heading into a new region we thought it would be a good idea to look back on the Inazuman characters and see how they rank against each other.
4-Star Inazuman Characters Tier List in Genshin Impact
For our tier list, we’re going to be looking at the 4-star characters from Inazuma. 4-stars cannot be compared against 5-stars as it would be an unfair comparison. So we thought of giving the 4-stars a separate list.
To be frank they have been a little underwhelming but the last 4-star character released from Inazuma in Genshin Impact Version 2.8 was Heizou who’s one of the best 4-stars overall in the game right now.
S-Tier
S stands for Supreme. These characters are a must-build if you have them in your roster.
- Shikanoin Heizou
Heizou is an Anemo 4-star melee catalyst DPS unit and he’s great at his job- which is dealing damage. He has the highest damage modifier out of all 4-stars in the game currently- even surpassing Beidou’s E skill.
A-Tier
A stands for Awesome in our book. These characters are good and fun to play with but they aren’t the best of the best.
- Sayu
Sayu is one of the most fun characters to play in the game. With her E skill, she can roll faster and farther than any character’s sprint so it is super fun to just use her to get places. She’s a chibi Anemo claymore user which already sounds fun. She is great for elemental reactions and even doubles up as a party healer with her cute Daruma Doll.
B-Tier
B stands for Basic and these following characters are basic in the sense that while they aren’t particularly bad, they are all still niche units. They are good in limited conditions and certain situations so you’re much better off using other units in their stead.
- Thoma
Thoma is a polearm Pyro shielder who scales off of HP but his shield has small duration and isn’t as tanky as they were advertised. He also only fills the role of a shielder and nothing else so this makes him rigid.
- Kujou Sara
People thought she would replace Bennett as a damage-boosting support but her kit is clunky and very complicated to use. Kujou Sara is a an electro bow-user and she does low damage on her own. Her attack buff is too complicated to set up so you’re better off using Bennett.
- Gorou
Gorou is a Geo bow user and a great unit but he’s only great for mono-Geo teams. He benefits Geo users and Geo is an unfavourable element as it doesn’t cause much reactions with any other element.
C-Tier
C stands for Cannot be played and that’s what the following character embodies.
- Kuki Shinobu
Kuki is a 4-star electro sword user who facilitates electro reactions and also plays the role of a healer. She’s a deeply flawed and underwhelming character due to her miserable damage and weak reactions.
While other regions have multiple 4-star characters in S to A tier, Inazuma currently has only two. While we can hope for more Inazuman 4-stars in the future, as of now their 4-stars from Inazuma have been underwhelming and even disappointing.
