Where to Best Spend Your Money in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact has tons of places to spend money in. You can spend money on Genesis Crystals and Primogems for your character and weapon pulls. If you’re feeling wealthy, you can even spend on Character Outfits for 5-star characters and even Resource Packs that give you a ton of resources and goodies without you having to farm them. However, as a low spender, the best places to spend your money in Genshin Impact are the Welkin Moon and the Battle Pass offers.
The Welkin Moon costs about $4.99 USD and gives you 300 Genesis Crystals and 90 Primogems every day for the next 30 days you log into the game. That is a whopping total of 2700 Primogems. With the added 300 Genesis Crystals which you can convert to Primogems- you get a total of 3000 Primogems which is about 18 pulls into any banner.
The Battle Pass is a recurring, almost monthly event unlocked after AR20 where players can complete various daily, weekly, and period commissions to gain a ton of rewards. The more commissions you complete the more Battle Pass EXP you earn which levels up the BP meter. It has a total of 50 Levels and after reaching BP Rank 50, you can choose to buy either the Gnostic Hymn or the Gnostic Chorus.
We recommend the Gnostic Hymn as it costs only $10 USD and you can gain a total of 162 Hero’s Wit, 384 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 2.88 Million Mora, 10 Fragile Resin, 4 Intertwined Fates, 680 Primogems (4 pulls), 9 Talent Strongboxes and 1 BP Weapon. Battle Pass weapons are powerful 4-star weapons- mainly for your DPS characters, that cannot be pulled from any of the gacha banners.
The Gnostic Chorus gives all of the rewards from the Gnostic Hymn plus a few more Fragile Resin (5), a Travel Notes Namecard, and Furnishing Blueprints that correspond to the ongoing Patch Update. It costs almost double the Gnostic Hymn and is not worth it. With the above two purchases of the Welkin Moon and the Gnostic Hymn, your account will be greatly improved and you can play comfortably without splurging on the game.
