Every region in Tevyat has its own signature enemies. While some enemies may overlap two regions, they are still considered unique to their region of origin. The Genshin Impact community has already had plenty of leaks from Sumeru- slated to be released in Update 3.0. Just like characters, Dendro reactions, and Sumeru’s local specialties, we finally have leaks on some of Sumeru’s unique enemies.
5 Enemies Unique to Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0
Most of Sumeru’s enemies are expected to have Dendro attacks and abilities. Additionally, we’re also expecting Dendro variations of Samachurls, Fatui, Treasure Hoarders, and even Dendro Abyss enemies are on the checklist. This list below is however, 5 completely unique enemies we’ve never faced before.
1. Ruin Gargoyle
A Ruin Gargoyle or simply Gargoyle seems to be another in the line of Genshin’s automaton enemies originating from the lost Kingdom of Khaenri’ah. These enemies seem to have a mix of melee attacks and projectiles that launch and explode after a moment at its target’s locations. The 4 protruding chambers in the top also seem to be able to launch Dendro infused projectiles that deal Dendro damage. They also come in a flying form where they act like a Ruin Hunter.
2. Electro Regisvine
The Electro Regisvine is of the Regisvine family of enemies of which we already have the Pyro and Cryo Regisvines. We’re finally getting the Electro Regisvine which we expected to release in the Inazuma region but instead we’re getting it in Sumeru. Hopefully, it won’t just end up as another test subject for testing out our character’s damage.
3. Desert Rouge
This mob seems like the local equivalent of Treasure Hoarders in Sumeru. Their red theme and their unique fighting style make them a fresh mob of enemies players can look forward to beating.
4. Mushroom Raptor
This is a totally new type of enemy we’ve never faced before. It seems to primarily attack with the Dendro element. Though thankfully it looks rather cute and elegant and we hope we’re allowed to tame it. This creature seems like the ideal travelling companion for our Travellers to ride on when the journey gets long and our legs get tired.
5. Eremite
The Eremite is described as an elite mercenary or assassin group that operates from Sumeru and conducts their business all across Tevyat. The above picture resembles her to some of the Fatui maiden designs we got in Inazuma.
These enemies clearly show a unique design element specific to Sumeru and we’re expecting to see more of their abilities as further leaks surface. Players, for now, can look forward to fighting these new enemies and speculate on what role they play in future Sumeru story quests.
