The yearly edition of the NBA title from 2K is out and it’s brought back some of the old error codes. Fans of the series are familiar with these issues as they often seem to surround the title in the first month of launch. As the game progresses, things become smoother. The issue we are talking about here is the NBA 2K22 2KSports Server Not Available error. If you have encountered this error and it’s preventing you from playing the game, we have some suggestions that may help you get back into the game.
How to Fix NBA 2K22 2KSports Server Not Available Error
When you encounter the NBA 2K22 2KSports Server Not Available error, the first thing you should do is verify the status of the servers. If the game is down for any reason, you may be seeing the error. TO verify the status, you can use one of the below websites:
If the game is down, one of the above sources may have further information on it. Downdetector is great for user comments and reports of personal issues. When the server is misbehaving and the problem is not reported on Twitter or the official website, you may find insight at Downdetector.
If the servers are fine, ensure that the problem is not with the Xbox Live Service or the PSN. An issue with your console network would also prevent the game from connecting to the server and result in an error message. Also, ensure that your subscriptions for the respective console are not expired.
The NBA 2K22 2KSports Server Not Available error may also arise when the client version of the game does not match the server. A mismatch between the versions can also be the cause of the error. To resolve the issue, check for updates. If there is a new update for the game, install it.
Often times a simple reboot of the console suffices to fix these errors. If not, power cycle the console to remove any bad cache that may be interrupting the connection. To power cycle, turn off the console normally, remove the power cords, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, reconnect the power cords and start normally.
Finally, if none of the above solutions worked to fix the error, the issue could be with your internet connection. Reset the router/modem and reboot the devices. Perform the basic network troubleshooting to fix the error as at this point the issue may likely be with the internet.
That’s all we have in this guide, hope the server problem with the game is fixed after following the above solutions. If you have a fix we didn’t cover, let us know in the comments.
I hit level 40 and didn’t receive mascot bc 2ksports server
why does it say “the 2ksports server is not available at this time. please try again later.” also, how can I get it to stop saying that my nba2k22 account sports account is expired and I have to make another thing or something
The servers were having issues sometime yesterday for a brief moment, maybe it’s because of that.
Did u get it because it just said that for mine and if so how do u get it because I can’t go back into the 40 reward and pick the one I want?
