As reported by dozens of players, the phone booth simply does not open for players to use it. Hence, they are unable to complete the quest.

If you have found the phone booth but cannot interact with it, there are some things you can do that have helped other players. A lot of players have reported that a simple reboot of the device helped them to bypass the bug and complete the quest by interacting with the phone booth. Here is what you need to do.
- Close Fortnite completely
- Restart the device you are playing the game on
- Try to play the game and go to the quest.
Quite a number of players on Reddit were able to resolve the problem by following the above process. But, if that does not work, here are some other solutions you can try.
Ensure that you are on a phone booth and not payphones. Phonebooth can be seen on the map when you access the quest. They are not the ones near bus stops. So, there is a chance you are trying to complete the quest at the wrong location.
Another solution that has worked for a few users was to try the booth at a different location. From what we know, the phone booth is located at six locations throughout the map. So, if one does not work try the other.
