The error message states, “SYNC ERROR. An error occurred while synchronizing game date with the server. Error Code: 411.” As it’s clear from the error message, it occurs when the client is unable to communicate with the servers.

There are often two causes for error like these, either the game servers are down or there is a problem with the user’s internet connection. As the DLC has just launched, a lot of new and old players would be joining the game. This can cause strain on the servers and lead to malfunction. One of the most likely reasons you are seeing the error is because of the server.

A good place to check if other users are affected with the same problem is the Downdetector website. If it’s a problem with the servers, there is nothing you can do, but wait for the developers to resolve the issue with the servers.

It’s also likely that a connection problem on the user-end may be causing the Dead by Daylight Sync Error Code 411. If the problem is not with the servers, here are some solutions you can try.

  • Reboot the device you are playing on and launch the game.
  • Power cycle the router or modem.
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
  • Change the DNS to more game friendly such as Google DNS.
  • Finally, there may be a glitch with the server that’s failing to fetch your profile. Play the game after some time.

While it may not be acceptable to the affected players, one of the most effective fix for the error code 411 is to play the game when the servers are more stable.
