If you have encountered the Battlefield 2042 not getting XP bug, there is news from the devs. Keep reading to find out.
What is the Battlefield 2042 Not Getting XP Bug?
With the launch of huge games like Battlefield or Vanguard, there are often issues you will encounter during the launch week. It’s happened with all multiplayer games in the past and will likely happen in the future. One of those issues is the Battlefield 2042 XP bug.
The good news is EA is aware of the problem and has identified that the XP bug only occurs when a user is on a server with 128 players. These servers can only be participated on by users on Next-gen console and PC, so players on PS4 and Xbox should be unaffected.
Fortunately, if you have encountered a bug, there is a simple fix. When you see that the score confirmations are not counting when you take down enemies or complete other objectives, you should immediately leave the match and find a new one. The bug is random and it’s quite possible you won’t see it in another match that you join. If you are unlucky, you may have to rejoin a few matches before you are able to shake off the Battlefield 2042 XP not counting bug.
While the devs identified the bug nearly 24 hours back, they have been able to patch it. So, you should not encounter it anymore. If you do, get in touch with the support or the Battlefield Direct Communication Twitter account for help.
