The first two minecart puzzles will be solved with the help of Cloud, while the other two will be solved by Barrett. As Cloud, you will find the first puzzle easy to solve. Just pull the cart using L2 and the left analog stick to pull it backwards. Keep exploring the mine till you spot another cart puzzle. This time there is a ladder nearby, and all you have to do is push the cart towards it and hop on.

Once you are done with the first two puzzles, you get to play as Barrett. For the next puzzle, push the cart to the left first and hop on. There is a treasure cache on the platform above. Hop back down and push the cart back to the lane, then pull the lever. This will straighten the tracks, and you can push the cart forward.

A little later, after the cutscene, use Barrett’s gun to shoot the two ladders on the left and right and bring them down. One of the ladders will take you to another treasure cache, while the other will take you to the cart. Pull the lever next to the rest station to open the door and push the minecart out. Shoot down any obstacles you encounter till you reach another lever. Pull the lever before pushing the minecart to make it fall into the barricade.
