FIFA 23 will be released on September 30th of this year. With every passing day, fans are growing more excited about the release. A tradition held true until now is that each game gets progressively better than the last- except it’s a different story this time because FIFA 23 uses HyperMotion2 Technology which analyses 11v11 matches using machine learning, giving players realistic games with unprecedented responsiveness.
Volleys are one of the most spectacular ways to score a goal and can often be effective if you have the skill. It isn’t always easy to hit the ball out of the air, but it looks pretty. You need to know here about scoring at volleys in FIFA 23. Let’s discuss.

How to Score Volleys?
Volleys are difficult because they require perfect timing – if a player doesn’t have enough space or isn’t strong enough, they will most likely miss the ball. Give your striker a good cross by pressing the Square/ X button near the edge of the box.
And when the ball travels through the air, allow your striker to shoot the ball using the Circle/B button. Aim his volley on target using your left analog stick; release the Circle/B button when you feel it has been charged sufficiently for an accurate goal.
To score volleys in FIFA 23, press the following buttons when the ball is in the air and next to your player.
- For PS4/PS5: Press the circle button.
- For XBOX One/XBOX Series/X|S: Press the B button.
