What is Skill Based Match Making?
Skills-based matching (SBMM) is an approach to level the playing field. Lobbies may be less competitive when you play the COD series for the first time. The algorithm will ultimately place you in balanced matches based on enough data so that you may compete with players of similar skill levels once you win a few matches. As a result, you will find better players in your lobby after a few wins.
Warzone 2 Skill Based Matchmaking
Users on Reddit expressed their frustration over the matchmaking system in Warzone 2 despite having a high KD ratio.
One of the fans said: “I’m quite confused by my situation.” It is common to play warzone with randoms when no friends are online, and they all fail to get one kill, contract, revive, or any money collectively. They also end up in the gulag as soon as they die, so they stop playing immediately. The whole game is me carrying useless dead weight which can’t even land a shot, let alone kill. I don’t understand why this is happening to me.
As for SBMM, some believe that it makes it difficult for casual players to enjoy the game since they are always paired up against meta loadout players. SBMM, however, is a debatable characteristic. Rather than being included in casual playlists, some think SBMM should only be used for ranked games.
