Dead Island 2 Plot Explained

In terms of story, Dead Island 2 is not a sequel to the original game and provides a more robust explanation of the Zombie outbreak and how the government was “Suspiciously” quick to react to this pandemic. Players will start their journey as a group who is trying to escape LA somehow and board the plane. The plane was unlucky and crashed into the middle of LA and now is the time, players will be given to choice to play any one of these characters.

NOTE: the story of Dead Island starts after 10 years from where the original game story ends. The Virus has made its way to LA.

All 6 characters have their own unique style but it doesn’t change the story as they are trying to survive together (It only changes the perspective).  Players can even play with their friends and survive the Zombie outbreak together.

Players dont need to play the original game Dead Island to understand the story of Dead Island 2. The story has a compelling background and plot to support its own weight as you progress through.
