The Legendary Clockwork Fish is one of the special fish that you will find in Crimson Desert. As compared to other fish that are normally found in lakes and rivers, this fish is not found at such places but needs to be found in a particular area of the eastern map, which is a quicksand area. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Clockwork Fish and how to catch it.
Clockwork Fish Location

The Legendary Clockwork Fish is one of the unique fish that you can find in Crimson Desert. This rare fish can be found on the eastern part of the map near a small lake marked on the map. Specifically, it is found in Sandshift Basin, Tashkalp. When you go there, you will soon realise that there isn’t any water at all. In fact, the place is full of quicksand, and that’s where the fish lives.
How to Find the Clockwork Fish

The first thing that you need to do after reaching the area where the quicksand is found is to look for any ripples on the sand surface. The fish will not be easy to find because it stays hidden under the quicksand for most of the time.
Once you see any ripple forming, rush to it. If the fish sees you, it will run off, making it very easy to spot it. Continue following the movements of the fish and observe the formation of ripples. This way, you will eventually reach the fish and pick it up from the quicksand.
It is possible to catch the Clockwork Fish through the use of a fishing rod; however, it may be tough to do so. This is because, since you are fishing from quicksand and not regular water, there will not be many clues, and your fishing line will break.
Therefore, the best thing to do is walk into the quicksand and follow the fish. After getting close to the fish, you should catch it so that you obtain the Legendary Clockwork Fish. The Legendary Clockwork Fish does not have a special reward for catching it. It only fetches about 10 silver when sold.
