It is impossible to ignore the fact that Coral Island is a paradise. The people here are bursting with life and happiness even though we are recovering from a horrific oil leak, particularly because of the adorable creatures among us. Players are wondering whether they can obtain their own pets because animals are an essential part of this game, whether you’re going down the street or seeking anything to do.
Like all farming sim games, Coral Island features a pet system. This means that you can adopt and own a pet who will help out on your farm. If you want to know how to get a pet in Coral Island, keep reading for more in the guide below.

Can you Adopt a Pet?
In Coral Island’s early access edition, pets cannot currently be owned. According to the developers, the pet shop within Town Hall is ready for the game’s 1.0 release. However, the Kickstarter timeline indicates that adoptable pets will be offered for the Winter content update, which is all about winter activities and attire.
Along with the usual dog, cat, and lizard, Coral Island’s early game also includes more unusual pets like monkeys, foxes, and rabbits. Like Stardew Valley, these pets will be accessible during character customization during the Kickstarter campaign.
In the Coral Island roadmap on Kickstarter, adoptable pets are not expected until Winter 2022. Until then, we’ll just have to wait for the next update, which is expected to come out sometime this year or next year.
So, this was all about the adoptable pets in Coral Island. Keep reading our other guides for more recent updates on this new exciting game.
