Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 introduced several new weapons balancing adjustments, including several major improvements to the Sniper Rifle weapons class. The major weapon tuning emphasis in the most recent season is flinching resistance. In gunfights, Flinch may entirely change the path of your shots, and modifying the stat has certain passive consequences.
Finally, this may affect the tier list ranks for the best and worst Snipers. Snipers, like Submachine Guns and Assault Rifles, have the ability to shift the meta on a grand scale, especially in the hands of talented players. So, at the start of Warzone Pacific Season 4, here’s our list of the finest Sniper Rifles, sorted from best to worst.

Tier List Description
Each Call of Duty: Warzone season, the Sniper rifle meta shifts somewhat. Power is sometimes favoured, but other times, such as in Warzone Season 4, aggressive alternatives receive additional bonuses. While the emphasis was on big Sniper modifications, they were not the only ones.
As part of the flinch resistance boost, seven Sniper Rifles were tweaked. Then there were new Snipers, such as the Gorenko Anti-Tank, that made significant improvements. In any case, there are several new weapons available at high ranks in Warzone Season 4.
Tier Rank | Description |
S-Tier | For good reason, this tier generally contains the most powerful meta weapons. Most competitive players will stick with these choices until something better comes up. They are virtually perfect. |
A-Tier | The boundary between these Sniper Rifles and S-Tier is frequently blurred. However, in a duel between two equal players, the top-tier weapons will have the advantage in terms of consistency and strength. |
B-Tier | The Sniper Rifles’ middle tier may be found here. These are still useful, but they will require the appropriate attachments. Expect to lose some erratic bouts. |
C-Tier | This is the point at which weapons begin to degrade in quality. Attachments can assist with this, although they are largely for entertainment purposes. You can make some fantastic moves, but they will lose a lot of fights. |
D-Tier | Any weapon in this category should be avoided at all costs. They aren’t competitive, and they aren’t generally enjoyable due to their lack of power. They might be able to acquire some boosts, but don’t hold your breath. |
Sniper Rifle Tier List
Tier Rank | Weapons | Description |
S-Tier | ZRG 20mm, 3-Line Rifle, HDR | The 3-Line rifle was one of the Snipers to receive some enhanced tweaking to the ADS transition time in the current version. Unfortunately, it is the sole modification to the S-Tier. The majority of this patch was on improving A-Tier weaponry in general, however many of these weapons stayed untouched. |
A-Tier | LW3 – Tundra, Kar98k (MW), M82, Kar98k (VG), Type 99, K31 Swiss | This tier is all on aggressive weapons with quick ADS speeds and one-shot head potential. However, they have been nerfed in the past, and their damage is still less consistent than the top-ranked guns. |
B-Tier | AX-50, Rytec AMR, Pelington 703, Dragunov, SP-R 208 | Once again, snipers such as the SP-R 208 received just enough of a boost to flinch reduction to get them up to average rank. All of the guns in this section are likely useful, but they should be reserved for fun courses where loss is unavoidable. |
C-Tier | Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle, M1916, SVT-40, M1 Garand, SKS, Gewehr-43, R1 Shadowhunt | The lowest two categories contain nearly every type of Tactical Rifle or Marksman Rifle. The Gorenko and Gewehr-43 were both promoted to C-Tier as a result of Warzone Season 4 enhancements, but they were the only modifications thus far down. |
D-Tier | EBR-14, MK2 Carbine, Crossbow | These weapons are basically hopeless, and they aren’t going away anytime soon. One can only hope that after Warzone Season 4, the weapons at the bottom of the barrel receive some assistance. |
