Season 4 Reloaded does not yet have an official release date, but mid-season upgrades for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone should arrive before the end of July. Here’s what we’ve learned so far regarding the major changes.
Starting Time of Season 4 Reloaded
Call of Duty Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune was released on June 22, and the mid-season point should be around July 26 based on the number of days remaining in the battle pass. Season 4 Reloaded might go online around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET on July 26 if this mid-season upgrade follows the pattern of previous updates.

Features of Season 4 Reloaded
Call of Duty’s “Reloaded” upgrades often contain extra maps, modes, more weapon balance, and bug improvements, and Season 4’s mid-point should offer much of the same.
New Weapons
So far, the Vargo-S assault rifle and the Push Dagger melee weapon have been announced for this later section of Season 4. The Push Dagger is a blade with a T-shaped handle for improved push force, whereas the Vargo-S is an assault rifle with a rapid-fire rate.
Operators
Vanguard’s new operator trio, Special Operations Task Force 009: Immortal, is the focus of Season 4. Captain Butcher’s operator skin is included in the seasonal battle pass, while Callum Hendry is accessible in-game as an operator package. This leaves Ikenna Olowe as the final task force member to get a store bundle for the mid-season upgrade.
A Terminator Crossover
Season 4 Reloaded will include two limited-time Terminator cosmetic packages that can be purchased and used in both Vanguard and Warzone. The T-800 Terminator skin from the original film will be included in one package, while the T-1000 model released in the 1991 sequel Terminator 2: Judgment Day will be included in the other.
It’s unclear whether this Terminator crossover will just be expensive bundles or whether there will be in-game challenges similar to Operation Monarch for the Godzilla and King Kong crossover event.
Warzone
Activision’s original blog article for Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune stated that a new mode will be released somewhere around mid-season. Titanium Trials: Endurance is a hazily described enhancement to Warzone’s famous Iron Trials variant.
Another blog mentioned Warzone’s mid-season teases, “There are bizarre whispers involving an undead surge and the final test for operators coming online…” This seems like a Warzone event or limited-time mode focused on Zombies, and it’s most likely what’s hinted as “Rebirth of the Dead” on the Rebirth Island map on the Season 4 roadmap.
Vanguard
Along with the new weapons and operators, Vanguard gamers can look forward to the arrival of the new Desolation map in multiplayer. Desolation is a small-to-medium-sized map set in a densely populated community riddled with disaster. Players will be able to battle in the area surrounding the map’s centre structure as well as along the creekside defences.
Zombies
Nothing has been verified or teased about the Zombies mode. Season 4 introduced the Shi-No-Numa round-based map, which was jam-packed with side Easter eggs and a rewarding main plot quest, so it’s unclear how much extra material will be included in the mid-season update.
