The Dendro Traveler is an amazing Dendro support unit- the best the game offers right now. Genshin Impact Version 3.0 opened up the region of Sumeru and released the final element- Dendro. With every new country, our Traveler can also access the elemental powers of the corresponding Archon in charge of the country.
People have had low expectations overall since the Traveler’s other forms have been disappointing for the most part. The Dendro Traveler changes all that as he’s currently the best form of the Traveler and the best Dendro support. In this article, we’ll discuss his best artifact sets- as of Version 3.0.
Dendro Traveler’s Best Artifacts in Genshin Impact 3.0
The Dendro Traveler shines as Dendro support- as such, he must be useful to the whole team. Since Dendro depends on elemental mastery for its viability, we’ll also need tons of EM. The Dendro Traveler has one problem, which is his energy recharge- as such, you will need at least one artifact with ER main stat.
The rest of the main stats and sub-stats can be divided up between ATK%, Crit Rate%, Crit DMG%, and EM. With those in mind, here are his current best artifact options in the game- ranked according to their viability.
Deepwood Memories
This artifact set not only gives bonus Dendro DMG from its 2-piece bonus but also shreds enemy Dendro RES (Resistance) from its 4-piece bonus. This set works on the Dendro Traveler regardless of whether he’s the only Dendro unit in your team. It’s the best artifact set for the Dendro Traveler period, but we understand that a proper set will still take time to farm.
Noblesse Oblige
This is an overall great support set and most likely one of which you already have many sets of. It buffs your elemental burst damage and gives ATK buff to your other party members, so you can be assured this is a great set on him.
Instructor
The Instructor set is a 4-star set, so even though your overall stats may suffer from a loss, its 4-piece bonus of increasing all party members’ EM is more than enough reason to build this set on him in case your party members suffer from a lack of it.
Emblem of Severed Fate
This set easily makes up for the Dendro Traveler’s energy needs, and as a 4-pc bonus, it boosts your Traveler’s elemental burst damage by the amount of ER he has. Naturally, having this set does not mean you skip out on one ER main-stat artifact, as that will still be necessary in case your sub-stats don’t give much ER.
Gilded Dreams
This set is also one of the newer sets added in Patch 3.0, and it’s available alongside the Deepwood Memories set. This set is only viable to increase your Dendro Traveler’s damage and thus does not have much support viability. Even so, this is a good set on him in case you want higher damage numbers from him.
Overall you ideally want 200% ER on him and a high EM stat. It doesn’t matter if you’re too low-leveled to farm artifacts because their 4-piece bonuses alone give a decent stat boost and buff. While you can always mix and match 2-pieces of different sets, you should go for their full 4-piece sets, even if some are 4-star variants.
