Before you can recruit Hirelings, you need to find and bring a particular NPC to your camp. You can find Withers inside the Dank Crypt when you are at the beach for the first time. After rescuing him, head back to camp to seek his services. You can hire Hirelings for 100 gold, but a few requirements have to be met. You need enough space in your party to keep a Hireling, and you can only hire 3 Hirelings at a time.
Hirelings offer a lot to your party, and there are plenty of options to hire them. They can help fill out any class gaps in your party, as each Hireling you purchase has an assigned class. You can also respec and level them up like any other party member. If you don’t need them in your party anymore, you can dismiss them. Below are all the Hirelings currently in the game.
