Once you head into Elfsong Tavern, you will find Willoughby challenging anyone to a joke contest. You can talk to him to offer a chance to go against him. If you choose to volunteer, you and Willoughby will be facing off with each other. The general rule of thumb to win the contest is to pick sassy replies that are not politically or religiously inclined. During the contest, you have to pick the following responses when they appear
- Willoughby the comedian, folks! Were his jokes good, or did he just smell funny?
- I tried sleeping with a dragonborn the other night, but it didn’t work – he had a reptile dysfunction.
- Our cleric tried to cast Healing Word on Ham, but it was already cured.
If you picked the correct responses correctly, Willoughby will be angry and will ask you to get out of the Tavern. And with that, you will complete the Laff Riot Contest.
