Collecting Ominous Eggs is one of the most effective ways to make farming in the World Tree much easier in Palworld 1.0. This is because the eggs will hatch Pals which have the World Tree passive ability, which allows you to collect some very important resources such as Mythical Wood and Paloxite without having to destroy the resource node. The problem is that finding Ominous Egg spawns is entirely random. In this guide, we’ll tell you about the Ominous Egg locations, explain what these eggs hatch into, and the fastest way to farm Ominous Eggs.
All Ominous Egg locations

Omnious Eggs will be random in nature. The eggs can spawn as a regular egg, an Ominous Egg, or sometimes may not spawn at all. Because of this, it’s a good idea to mark every possible spawn point on your map and check them regularly. In case of single player mode, you should be able to respawn them by restarting the game. For a multiplayer server, you may have to wait for some hours to respawn the eggs.

Some of the best spots for finding these eggs include the west side of the World Tree near Jidron. This area has two spots for finding eggs. The first one is inside a small opening, while the second one is located next to the tree itself. Be cautious since Jidron becomes aggressive if you approach too close to him.
The other possible location for finding an Ominous Egg would be the vicinity of Jidron above the ruined castle. This area can serve as a spot where the egg appears, as it was confirmed earlier. Since it is near the boss zone, be sure to be prepared.

Ominous Eggs Hatch

Every Ominous Egg is guaranteed to hatch a Pal with one of the following World Tree passive skills:
- Twin Edged Holy Blade increases your Pal’s Attack by 50%, but reduces its Defence by 30%. It’s a strong choice if you want to maximize damage.
- God of Destruction boosts Attack by 40% and Defence by 20%, but cuts the Pal’s maximum HP in half. It’s a high-risk, high-reward passive for combat.
- Demon’s Hand increases Work Speed by an impressive 90%, making it one of the best passives for base workers.
- Hermit Sage reduces SAN depletion by 50%, allowing your working Pals to stay productive for much longer without needing breaks.
- Dimensional Leap increases movement speed by 50%, making mounted travel much faster and more convenient.
- World Tree Seedbed slows Hunger depletion by 50%, so your Pals eat less often during long adventures.
- Whether you’re building the strongest combat team, improving your base, or simply looking for a faster mount, these are some of the best passives currently available in the game.
This way, your Pal will be able to collect precious World Tree resources. With a Pal who has any of these World Tree abilities in your party, you can harvest resources without destroying the node. As a result, you’ll be able to visit the location over and over again, which is very useful when it comes to gathering resources for future crafting.
How to Farm Ominous Eggs
Eggs that spawn inside the World Tree area are entirely randomised. At each egg spawn site, the game randomly determines the type of egg that will be spawned. Therefore, a regular egg can turn into a Huge Ominous Egg after the game is loaded again.
In order to use this glitch, you need to first find any egg in the World Tree area. After finding the egg, position yourself near it without grabbing it. Go back to the menu and exit the title screen. Load your game again right away.
When you go back to your game, take a look at the egg you left behind. Chances are it will change its form. If it didn’t change into an Ominous Egg yet, just do the same thing all over again until it does.
