Disney Dreamlight Valley’s The Remembering update brings the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella to the Valley. You can now interact with her and pick up quests, and one of the quests you will receive is the Fire Alarm quest. This quest requires you to toggle back and forth between her and Merlin to find a solution to the fires raging in the Forgotten Lands. During the Fire Alarm quest, you will be tasked with creating a potion that will put out the fires in the Forgotten Lands. Here we will see how to complete this objective in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

You can get the Fire Alarm quest after leveling up the Fairy Godmother to Level 2. After that, speak to her and progress a bit through the quest till you get the above objective. You need to craft the Icy Enchantment potion and use it to extinguish the fires. For the potion, you will require the following items.
- 3x Tourmaline – Found by mining Rock Spots in Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights
- 15x Snowballs – Found by mining Ice Rocks in Frosted Heights or purchased from Kristoff’s Stall
- 5x Dream Shards – Get by removing Night Thorns, feeding critters, or digging cracked spots
- 5x Purple Impatiens – Can be found throughout the Forgotten Lands.
- 1x Empty Vial – Should be crafted using 3x Glass
Once you get the above items, craft the Icy Enchantment and equip it in your inventory. After that, talk to the Fairy Godmother to be sent out to extinguish five green flames. Make your way to the Forgotten Lands, and using your Royal Water Can with the potion, aim and put out 5 flames. Talk to the Fairy Godmother after you are done to get the next objective of the Fire Alarm quest.
