In the quest that is called the Great Mountain Survey, you will need to go to the mountain specified and retrieve a special quest item. First, you will need to be clear about the location of the mountain, which is shown in the picture below. The blue marker inside the circle is the quest location.
As part of this quest, you will need to get four Survey Beacons. While you are standing in the middle of the circle there, you will need to face northwest. Make your way straight until you see some sticks that are tied up next to each other, and beside them, you should find a tree.
The Survey Beacons will be close by on the ground, and they will glow yellow so they shouldn’t be too difficult to spot. You will need to pick up the first one here. For the second one, travel east of the center of the circle. It is on top of a rock, where an enemy will spawn and you need to fight them off.
The third one is near the center between some rocks, and it is covered in snow so you will need a Pyro character to unlock it. The last one is in the northwest next to a pond, and you will need a Geo character to break the rocks blocking it.
