Eventually you will be running out of storage, and that’s when you know that you need to upgrade your storage space. The game lets you do this by making a storage chest. The larger your inventory space is, the more things you will be able to store.

You can place your items in a storage chest once you have one. They can hold a lot of items inside so you should definitely consider getting it. You can make it from the crafting menu, but if you’re not sure how to, let’s check it out.
The first thing you will need to do is make your way to the crafting menu. This is at the top of your screen, and you will need to click on it to open it. Alternatively, you can also press C in order to pull up the crafting menu. Here, you can see the recipes that you can make.
Locate the Makeshift Chest and click on it to see the recipe. You will need a total of 25 Wood and 13 Trash, which you can find in the wild. They are quite easy to obtain, and once you have them you should be able to make the chest.
