Unfortunately, any progress made in Beta will not be carried over to the official Modern Warfare 2 launch. The official launch date for Modern Warfare 2 is still some weeks away, and it will launch on October 28th, but fans are disappointed to know that their XP and progression levels will not be carried over.
But not all hope is lost, as any items earned during progression will get carried over. You will receive these items every time you level up, and each week you will receive certain items, be it weapon blueprints or cosmetic items. The only drawback to this is that all weapon upgrades and level-ups that you have done will be reset, but otherwise, you still retain all the blueprints and cosmetic items.
