NBA 2K23 has plenty to offer for new and recurring fans of the 2K series. In the latest title, you can now earn Legend status by completing some requirements. Players who were aware of this in the previous titles would know what to do, but for new players, this walkthrough will take you around the Legend status and how to attain it in The City’s MyCareer mode in NBA 2K23.

Getting the Legend status in My City will help you earn some special rewards, as well as keep you at the top of the leaderboards. Here we will see how to become a Legend in NBA 2K23’s MyCareer.

Obtaining Legend status will require a bit more grinding than what you had to do in NBA 2K22. There are four tasks that you need to complete to get this status, and we will take a look at them in terms of current-gen and next-gen requirements.
Current Gen
- Collect 100K Points in any of the following – The Neighborhood, The REC Games, or Pro-AM
- Get to G.O.A.T Level and play 500 games total
- Complete 13 Season Quests
- Participate in 20 Events and earn prizes in The Neighborhood
Next-Gen
- Score 100K Points in any of the following – The City, The REC, or Pro-AM.
- Get to G.O.A.T Level and play 500 games total
- Complete 12 Season Quests
- Participate in 20 Events and earn prizes in The City
To keep track of your progress, open up the MyCareer menu and toggle to The City or The Neighborhood tab. In there, hit the Legend Prize section to keep an eye on all the quests and the progress you are making for each one. Currently, the prize for attaining Legend status is unknown, but this post will be updated as soon as it is announced.
