Genshin Impact Version 3.0 was just released, but the beta for Version 3.1 has already started, and so have the leaks. We already know what new characters we’re getting for Version 3.1 since it was confirmed by Genshin Impact’s official accounts, which posted their splash arts. Today we have leaks about the Sumeru weapons releasing alongside these characters as their signature weapons.
New Leaked Sumeru 3.1 Weapons in Genshin Impact
The following weapons are all new gacha weapons going to be featured in Version 3.1 weapon banners. Of these, the two 5-stars are signature weapons for their corresponding 5-star character releases. We also have other new 4-star weapons, which are going to be gacha weapons from Sumeru.
Staff of the Scarlet Sands
This weapon is most likely going to be Cyno’s signature weapon considering he’ll be an electro DPS from Sumeru. This also all but confirms that Cyno will also scale off of EM. This weapon was also featured in the official Candace splash art, so maybe this will work for her too. As a Crit Rate main stat weapon, this can also be useful for sub-DPS polearm users like Xiangling or Rosaria.
Key of Hierophany
This sword is most likely going to be Nilou’s signature weapon. Considering it has an HP% main stat and Nilou scales off of HP, this is her best-in-slot. This will also benefit other HP-scaling characters like Healer Bennett. Even so, the sword seems a bit niche and is perhaps only viable for Nilou alone.
Xiphos’ Moonlight
This weapon will be part of a new gacha weapon set. It seems like a support weapon handcrafted for Sumeru to aid in Dendro-based reactions. This could be the Dendro Traveler’s best-in-slot 4-star weapon once it’s released, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Wandering Evenstar
This weapon is part of the same gacha set from Sumeru. It has the same main stat type and has a similar passive too, but it’s not the same. While the one before gets ER based on EM of the character, this one gives ATK% based on EM of the character- thus suggesting a DPS functionality.
Mahara Aquamarine
This weapon also is similar to the one above. It’s part of the same set and has a DPS functionality too. For now, this seems like an excellent weapon for a support Beidou and other similar support claymore users. This seems good for characters like Sayu and Dori too.
The above weapons will be great additions to Genshin Impact’s weapon roster. They have a new Eastern-Arabian aesthetic and are a breath of fresh air regarding abilities and passives. These are sure to pair well with all our current and upcoming Sumeru characters and other characters who synergize well with the Dendro element.
