Character Perks include abilities that can give you added benefits. You can start equipping perks on your characters as soon as they start leveling up, with certain levels unlocking new perks. There are two types of Perks to use, a Signature Perk and a Universal Perk. A Signature Perk is a perk that is only available to that character alone, and cannot be used by other characters. In the beginning you can only equip one signature perk on a character, but as they level up to max they can equip two signature perks. A Universal Perk can be used by all characters, and this is where the Perk Training comes into play.
First, your character needs to reach level 9 to unlock Perk Training. You can level up your character through the Character Mastery. Once that is down and the Perk Training section is unlocked, you can then head over to that character’s page and unlock new Perks. Each perk will cost you a certain amount of gold, and the gold cost will vary according to if the perk hasn’t been learnt before, or if another character has learnt this perk. A fresh unlearnt perk will cost more gold to unlock, while a perk that is learnt by any other character in your roster can be bought for a lesser price. It is best to level up all your characters to unlock all the Universal Perks so that you can assign the best ones to other characters as well.
