Location to Photograph a Monksnail
If you wish to photograph the, you muse Monksnailt travel to the Frost Islands. However, you must ensure that you visit this spot at night. During the day, monksnails will not appear.
When you get to the location, we recommend going to area eight in the northeast corner of the map. If you have this region unlocked, you can fast travel to the camp. When you arrive, use your Wirebug to swing your way over to the frozen ship that overlooks the region and climbs to the top of the mast, gazing east.
Following is the marked region on the map.
The Monksnail should be gently moving through the water and past the mountain. If you wait too long to visit this area, you could miss it. We propose going on an expedition to discover this creature rather than attempting to capture a monster at the same time.
To complete the mission, select your in-game camera from the menu and take a photo of it before leaving the location.
You should look for the Monksnail on a High-Rank expedition. Attempting to visit the Frost Islands in a Master Rank task did not yield a Monksnail in our experience, preventing us from finishing the objective. As a result, you must do this when exploring a High-Rank Frost Island.
