The Festive Fervor event has hit Warzone and Vanguard, helping spread the holiday cheer. During the event, players can go out to find and kill the Krampus, a monster known for scaring children and comes out during the winter. This guide will show you all the Krampus locations in the game.
Where to find Krampus in Warzone
Warzone and Vanguard have a new winter holiday event called the Festive Fervor, which will start on December 17. Players will get many new activities in the game, including a new game mode in Armageddon, a new Elf Team Six that will roam the grounds in both campaign and multiplayer, and the Krampus. You can find the Krampus roaming the Caldera and Vanguard’s multiplayer maps.
Krampus can hunt in three-minute bursts and can switch targets, attacking players roaming the map. If you can manage to take down a Krampus, you can claim some special rewards. Hunting him down might be a bit difficult since he has no fixed spawn point and will appear at random around the map. A fair warning before attempting to hunt him down, as he might not go down easily, so it is best to be prepared before going after him.
In Caldera Map
To get noticed by a Krampus, you would need to find some coal first, since the story goes that the Krampus will come after “naughty” players, and getting coal is the best way to make it in that list. You can collect coals from Holiday Crates. To get the Holiday Crate, you will have to look for Fir Trees that are planted somewhere between the palm trees in Caldera. You can find them by checking your map and around POIs. If you stand near a Fir Tree for some time, Supply Boxes will start to drop nearby and with it the Holiday Crates. You can get all sorts of legendary loots and rewards and, most importantly, coal.
Make note that even if you do have the coal, it is not certain that Krampus will come for your head-on, but the odds of coming across him will increase.
In Vanguard
In Vanguard, finding a Krampus isn’t that hard and you won’t have to go looking for anything to lure him to you. Here, Krampus will punish players who are not playing the objective. The players with the lowest objective score from each match will be on Krampus’ list. If you have the least amount of time in the Hardpoint or couldn’t collect enough points in Kill Confirmed, the Krampus will come after you.
If you are being targeted by the Krampus, you will be warned in-game to give you some time to bump your score or fight the monster. If you fail in this, Krampus will take you out with his powerful Finishing Move.
This is all there is to know about how to find the Krampus during the limited time Festive Fervor event.
