There are five Long Pillar challenges in Phantom Blade Zero that you need to complete for the Bloodline Awakening side objective. Each pillar is located in a different area, with two of them found in Meigu Lake. Here is how to find all five Long Pillars and reach their challenge locations.
All Long Pillar Locations in Phantom Blade Zero
Weeping Creek Valley Long Pillar
The first Long Pillar is located on the right side of Weeping Creek Valley, near the Weeping Creek Longpillar Bell. The best way to get there is to go through the entrance of Creek Valley Plains and head to the lower area, which eventually leads to the Long Pillar Overlook Bell.
Once you hear the bell, walk across the bridge located to your right and follow the right-hand side towards the massive cave. Go inside the cave and walk to the other side. There, you will find a gigantic structure that is chained and marks the trial location.
When it comes to defeating the enemy, using parry or perfect dodges is key to inflicting damage.
Crimson Forest Long Pillar
The second Long Pillar is situated on the right-hand side of Crimson Forest, not too far from the Mirrorwood Long Pillar. From the Mirrorwood Entrance Bell, climb down the two sets of ladders until you arrive at the bottom.
Continue towards the left in the canyon and take the first right path near the blue flower. Use the hook to get onto the higher platform. Stay on the same path to find the Long Pillar on your left side.
Meigu Lake Long Pillar
The third Long Pillar can be found on the far right side of Meigu Lake near the Mid Lake Longpillar Dock.
To get to Meigu Lake, travel past Pangzhen and defeat its Main Boss in the area’s first version. Go to the Pangzhen Docks and take a boat to the lake.
Sail to the far right side and sail through the opening to arrive at Mid Lake Long Pillar Dock. When you arrive, park your boat and get off the boat to find the Long Pillar.
Meigu Lake Long Pillar (Four Masks)
On the left side of Meigu Lake, in proximity to the Four Guardians Mirror Bell, lies the fourth Long Pillar. First, you need to defeat a few enemies to collect four masks to access this location.
Once you acquire all four masks, you can proceed to the broken mirror near the Four Guardians Mirror Bell. Keep your movements across this lower level and the sliding parts. Continue going forward through the narrow slide and climb the wall on your right.
Proceed with crossing the level until it becomes possible to drop down. Keep your movements across this lower level and the sliding parts. Eventually the path will lead you around the wooden fence and to the Long Pillar nearby.
Pangzhen Long Pillar (Mirage Estate)
The final Long Pillar can be found in Mirage Estate, the late game area of Pangzhen. From the Covered Corridor Bell, climb the stairs to the right to reach the small corridor.
Go through the twists and turns of the corridor until you see a section where you can drop down. After dropping down, continue along the path and use the jump button to cross the gap. Climb the small wall and follow the path to get to the last Long Pillar.
Complete the Bloodline Awakening Side Objective
Once you complete all five pillars of the Long Pillar challenge, you will complete the Bloodline Awakening side objective and acquire an achievement or trophy depending on your platform. Each challenge has its own mechanic, so check the instructions displayed in the top-right corner of the screen to understand how to defeat the opponent.
