For those who want to get the Davy Jones’s Locker trophy from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you need to get to the deepest point within the whole map. That can only happen once one unlocks the Diving Bell that allows players to get to the sunken ships under the water. In this guide, you will learn how to get to the Black Trench, where the diving bell is located, and how to unlock the trophy.
Davy Jones’s Locker Location
In order to find Davy Jones’s Locker, you will need to go to the shipwreck Black Trench. The coordinates for this area are (184, 425). The side quest is unlocked once you unlock the Diving Bell, which will be unlocked mid-way through the main storyline. You have to finish the 22nd main mission known as “Diving for Medicine.”
After you have completed the mission, you can start seeing Shipwreck quests. Once you’re in the water, you will need to find the big shipwreck in the area and swim to its center. From there, you will need to move downwards while swimming to your right.
Note: Be careful of the sharks along the way. But don’t worry too much, they’re easy to avoid. Just swim around them and you should be fine.
Sink down until you get to the bottom of the trench. Here you will see an old diving bell and inside there you will see the remains of a sailor. This place is situated just outside the little green circle visible on the map. All you need to do is go up to the diving bell and stay close to it for some time.
After some time delay, the trophy of Davy Jones’ Locker will unlock. If it doesn’t appear immediately, swim around or as close to the bell for a moment until it pops. You might have to do this multiple times until the trophy appears.
