Sizing Things Up is a quest in ARC Raiders that tasks players with going through Pendola Pass to learn about the fallen Emperor. Players have to take a picture of one of the Emperor’s legs, analyze a probe, and dig up an ARC Conductive Coupler from a buried payload. Here’s how to complete each objective, extract safely, and claim your quest rewards.
Take a Photo of the Emperor’s Leg
After starting the quest from Celeste, you will get a Basic Camera as your first equipment. Keep your camera in your safe pocket as you continue.
Proceed to the Old Town bridge on the southwestern side of Pendola Pass and locate the Emperor’s leg. Equip your Camera and take a picture to complete the first task. You may also take a picture of the Emperor’s leg from the bridge below.
Inspect the Probe Before Analyzing the Exposed Area
In case you intend to achieve the optional probe objective, it is recommended to do this prior to beginning the analysis of the Emperor’s leg as the completion of the latter can prevent you from completing the former.
Head directly underneath the Emperor’s leg to find the middle door at its base. There, search the interactable object on the ground so that you can achieve the probe objective.
Then head directly south of Railroad Junction to the Emperor’s foot where it touches the ground. Now climb on the spot marked in your quest and analyze the exposed area.
Note: All the relevant areas are marked on the map image above.
Search the Buried Harvester Payload
Next, make your way to the Emperor’s stronghold on the west side of Pendola Pass. Arriving in the region will finish the Reach the Base of the Emperor objective and initiate the Search the Buried Payload.
Look for a half-submerged, long box sticking out of the snow and wreckage. Search it to receive the ARC Conductive Coupler and store it in your safe pocket.
Extract and Collect Your Rewards
Go to Pendola Pass with the coupler and then return to Celeste at Speranza to finish the quest. The rewards you receive are: Three Adrenaline Shot, Exodus Technical Handbook, Bettina assault rifle, 60 Heavy Ammo, and 5,000 XP
