Track down a dangerous monster in this Ogden Side Story as the mysterious case takes a wild turn. In this quest, you’ll hunt the dangerous Exotic Seregios, track its unusual behavior, and use clever tactics to lure it out. Follow this guide to locate, bait, and defeat the monster with ease.
How to Start the Quest
You’ll need to start by going to the marked location in Sheparden. There, you’ll find Odgen, who gives you the Side Story. He’ll tell you that there’s been a development in the case about the letters and their mysterious senders, but there’s something that’s bugging him; it’s the monster Exotic Seregios, which you’ll need to get rid of. He will then give you information on the monster and tell you that he can be found in the Canalta Timberland.
How to Find & Defeat the Monster
To begin your search, you’ll need to go to the Catavan Stand in Backwoods. Once you reach the location, follow the path to your left until you come across a huge honkin’ tree in an open area. This marks the path’s end and indicates that you’re in the monster’s territory.
Odgen will then tell you that Exotic Seregios quarries on only one particular monster, which makes it difficult to lure it out. The monster that you need to tempt the Exotic Seregios is Arzuros. So, start by searching for an Arzuros egg in the forest, and if luck is on your side, you’ll be able to find it easily near a dig point on the above marked location. Simply defeat the Arzuros and make it return to its den.
Note: You’ll be able to collect the information about Azurios from the Honey-Harvesting Man, whom you’ll find in the area, and he’ll tell you that the location used to be filled with Arzuros, but now they’re gone, giving you a clear hint on who might have eaten/taken them.
You’ll simply need to follow the Arzuros to its nest to find the eggs. Grab one egg slowly from the nest, and then go back to the Sheparden to start the process of hatching the egg and adding Arzuros to your party. Once Arzuros has been added to your party, go back to the Exotic Seregios monster location near the honkin’ tree and use Arzuros.
The Exotic Seregios will be lured in by spotting Arzuros, and you can take this opportunity to defeat the monster and complete the quest easily.
