Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 features a locked door that is connected to an Emoji keypad; however, solving the puzzle to gain access to the door isn’t easy. This guide offers you all the information you need to know about how the code works, how to enter the correct emoji sequence and what else can be found behind the door once you are able to access it.
Where the Code Comes From
In Chapter 5, the Emoji keypad is connected to an original machine that will become available for use after collecting three memory chips from their respective readers nearby to activate the machine. Once the machine has started up, you will be able to enter the machine and look through all the memories stored inside.
Only the first part of the last memory is relevant to solving this puzzle and it occurs in a Conditioning area with a radio message providing the appropriate keypad command.
Emoji Combination Used on the Keypad
After watching the memory, return directly to the Conditioning room and enter the following sequence on the Faces/Emoji keypad: Happy (Yellow), Happy (Yellow), Disgust (Green), Sad (Blue), Fear (Purple), Happy (Yellow)
Entering the combination unlocks the door immediately.
Rewards and Secrets Behind the Door
Near the keypad there is a VHS tape collectible located on the ground. You can use the TV and VHS player located in the nearby damaged room (also shown during the memory) to play the VHS.
If you crouch next to the left-most shutter and look through the shutter opening, you can see one of the seven secret scanners (which are all associated with the hidden Easter egg that is found later in the game) hanging on the wall across from where you are looking.
