One of the earliest multipurpose tools that players will have to craft in Subnautica 2 is the Survival Multitool. To craft this tool, players will have to gather Titanium from underwater rock deposits and use the Fabricator inside the Life Pod. The guide will provide players with tips on where they can find Titanium, how to check the blueprints, and how to craft the Survival Multitool.

Collect Titanium Underwater

Players will be able to craft their first tools in the game by creating a Survival Multitool. This multitool can be crafted by obtaining the necessary materials. To obtain the required materials, you will need to dive down to the bottom of the ocean and find deposits of Titanium that can be found at the ocean floor. Titanium appears as small rock formations.

The blueprint requirements show that you need to gather three titanium to be able to craft the tool. Once you’ve gathered it, return to the Life Pod before continuing to the next step.

Check the Blueprint Requirement

When you first get into the Life Pod, immediately open the PDA and go to the blueprints section. There, in the Tools category, you will find the Survival Multitool blueprint; it will also tell you what materials are required to make this tool. The blueprint confirms that crafting the tool requires three Titanium.

Craft the Survival Multitool

After confirming that you have sufficient Titanium, you will need to go to the Fabricator located inside the pod and interact with it using the Fabrication menu. After accessing the Fabricator, you will need to go to the Personal tab and navigate to Tools. Next, select the Survival Multitool option to craft it. Once you have finished crafting the Survival Multitool, it will appear in your inventory.
