You can construct the Seaweed and Netting Habitat in Bubbly Basin DLC. Moreover, this is the habitat needed for bringing Carvanha to Bubbly Basin. But before you can complete building the habitat, it is necessary for you to learn more about it and gather the necessary items, namely the Netting and Lush Seaweed.

Help Corsola First

You can avail the Seaweed and Netting Habitat through Corsola. During the quest involving Corsola, you will need to take Carvanha with you to that location, as Corsola requires a Pokémon capable of using the Cut ability.

You can find Corsola in Bubbly Basin after setting up a Basin Tall Grass and Coral habitat. To set up that habitat, you will need to use Leafage to pull up 4 pieces of grass from a coral.

Corsola will ask you to help with the garden after you improve the habitat, which leads to the request for Carvanha, and that’s when you will come across the Seaweed and Netting Habitat.

Learn The Seaweed And Netting Habitat

Head to Corsola’s home to learn the habitat. There is already Netting near the house, which also gives you an idea of what the finished habitat requires.

When facing the building from the garden, you can find two Lush Seaweed plants to the right of the home, with three pieces of Netting behind them.

A Poké Ball sitting on the box beside the Lush Seaweed contains the Netting Recipe. Once you obtain it, Netting can be crafted at a crafting table under the Buildings tab. The recipe requires:

  • 1×Vine Rope
  • 1×Twine

How to Get Vine Rope

To get Vine Rope, the Water Gun attack must be used on hanging vines to add moisture to them, and after that, Cut must be applied on them to chop down the vines. Certain Grass-type Pokémon, having Litter Specialty, such as Bellsprout and Weepinbell can drop Vine Rope as well in the location where they live. Also, it is possible to mine the item from the Wasteland Dream Island.

How to Get Twine

Twine can be gathered from shredded textile scraps like cloth and spider webs, as found in many locations of abandoned structures. Some Bug Pokémon with the Litter Specialty, such as Spinarak, Ariados, Larvesta, and Volcarona can also drop Twine. Other than that, Twine can also be obtained at Ocean Dream Island.

Find Netting Without Crafting It

If you’re looking for Netting, you don’t have to rely on crafting. There is a place you can go to where you can find pre-made Netting.

Your best option is to head over to the cave and break down the barrier that is preventing your access. Once you enter the cave you will be able to see some pieces of Netting which you can grab.

This is helpful if you don’t want to craft the Netting or if you don’t have the unlock recipe available to you yet.

Gather Lush Seaweed

The other part of the habitat is Lush Seaweed. You can find Lush Seaweed growing in patches around Corsola’s home. Instead of picking it up normally, use the Rototiller on the seaweed patch to harvest and move it. The habitat requires:

  • 4×Netting
  • 2×Lush Seaweed

Assemble The Habitat

Return to the designated section near Corsola’s habitat site once you collect the materials needed for the Netting and Lush Seaweed Habitat.

Bring the four parts of the Netting and two parts of the Lush Seaweed to a certain area. It is important to place the two materials in close proximity to allow the habitat to be crafted.

As soon as all parts are put in the correct position, the construction of the Seaweed and Netting Habitat will be completed and the entry is noted in the Habitat Book.

When the habitat is completed, Carvanha can be seen for the first time. When Carvanha arrives, you can eliminate Corsola’s influence and employ Carvanha’s Cut for the next mission in Bubbly Basin.
