In High on Life 2, Dr. Gurgula’s Hidden Transmissions are easy to miss if you rush the story. This guide helps you track down all three transmissions during specific bounties and open-world sections, ensuring you don’t miss the rare Dr. Gurgula Will Return achievement.
How to Find All Three Hidden Dr. Gurgula Transmissions
There are some missable collectibles you’ll find during the main story in High on Life 2, and that includes three Hidden Transmissions. Here’s an easy breakdown of all three locations:
Hidden Transmission 1
The first Hidden Transmission can be found during the “Dinner with Mom” bounty when you venture out to rescue your dad in Wyoming. After a mini boss battle, you’ll reach a room that has a huge broken glass window in the front, and to its right, there’s a bookshelf that you’ll need to climb. In the corner, you’ll find a vent through which you can go to the room where the Hidden Transmission can be found on the table. This transmission is missable because you won’t be able to return to the area after you’ve completed the bounty.
Hidden Transmission 2
After you’ve finished the “Dinner with Mom” bounty, you’ll need to go to the open world. Head over to the marked location in Circuit Arcadia, go up the stairs, take a left, and you’ll find a truck in front of you. Use the Travis and Jan combo to elevate the truck so that a path opens up for you, which will take you to a puzzle room.
Inside, you’ll need to drop down (to a lower level) in the middle of the area and use Gus to open a vent, which reveals a power node. Then, you’ll need to go to the lowest level, and you’ll find Lug Locks inside a pit. You’ll have to use Travis and Jan to launch Lug Locks into the air and out of the pit; this will save you from going inside the pit.
Next, use the Lug Locks and put it on the power plate to open the door that leads you to the next area. You’ll have to use Gus again to reveal a second power node, then equip Travis and Jan, repeat the same process from earlier, and take out the Lug Locks from the pit. This time, you’ll have to get the Lug Locks on top of the orange ramp that you’ll find in front of a yellow vehicle. Use Travis and Jan again to launch Lug Locks on top of the vehicle.
Next, you’ll need to hop on top of the balcony near the vehicle and put Lug Locks on the ledge. You basically have to put it in a way so that it’s easier to connect it with the power node. Use the Sheath to connect Lug Locks with both the node and the amplifier node that’s on the balcony’s right corner. Lastly, use the connection to connect it to the door, which takes you to a room with another Lug Locks.
Now, take the Lug Locks and go to the center of the room. You’ll find a floating vehicle in the middle. Use the Travis and Jan launcher again to make sure the Lug Locks go on top of the vehicle. Next, use the Sheath to connect the power node to the amplifier, then to the Lug Locks, and then to another amplifier that’s on the doorway we first opened. Then, connect it with the first amplifier that you used earlier, jump on the vehicle, and connect it to the outer door. Connecting all these nodes is important for you to be able to open the door. Next, use Travis and Jan to launch the vehicle higher and go inside the room to find the Hidden Transmission.
Hidden Transmission 3
The final Hidden Transmission can be found during the “Professor Berkel” bounty. In the beginning, you’ll be tasked with shutting down six science experiments. Ignore this objective for now and go to the last tent you’ll find on the right. Inside, you’ll find a power cord that is connected to a device. Switch it on to turn the cord green, and this will open the door to the tent with the Hidden Transmission. Next, follow the cord to reach the tent, and inside you’ll find the transmission.
With the final Hidden Transmission, you’ll unlock the rare Dr. Gurgula Will Return achievement.
