Pal Metal Ingots are some of the most important items you will need to collect in Palworld, particularly as you progress through the game and get into the late-game stage. These metal ingots are needed to make weapons, armour, machines, and other equipment. The manufacture of these items requires several materials but is relatively simple. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Pal Metal Ingots, the materials you’ll need, and the best Pals and locations to farm them quickly.
How to Get It in Palworld
Pal Metal Ingots are one of the most important crafting materials at the end-game stage. They can be crafted using advanced weapons, armour, and machines; however, their production requires some preparation.
Quartz
The first material required to upgrade the Pickaxe is Quartz, which you will find in the Snow Biome (-119, 257). Make sure that before entering the biome, you put on a Multiclimate Shirt or anything else that can give you the necessary cold resistance. Search for the white Quartz ore in this biome, and mine it using your Pickaxe. It can be easily found, and therefore, it should not take much time from you. As soon as you level up to Level 52, you will get access to the Quartz Mining Site.
Ore
The second item is Ore, which can be acquired from almost all biomes on the map. Although mining the natural nodes of Ore is good enough, the simplest way is to unlock the Ore Mining Site facility when reaching level 24. Set up the Ore Mining Site facility in your base and appoint the mining Pal for the same. This gives you a steady supply of Ore without having to search for deposits yourself.
Paldium Fragments
The last item you will need is the Palladium Fragments. These can be crafted out of the Stone once you have unlocked its recipe at Level 8. Getting the Stone is quite simple: either mine the stone from rocks found across the world or build a Stone Pit at Level 7.
Unlock the Electric Furnace
The Pal Metal Ingots can only be produced by an Electric Furnace that is unlocked from Level 44. Being an electric building, you will have to make sure you have a Power Generator (which is unlocked from Level 26) and a Pal with Generating Electricity work suitability.
In addition, you will need a Pal with work suitability Kindling in order to run the Electric Furnace. The greater the level of Kindling is, the quicker your metal ingots will be produced. Before you place an Electric Furnace, you will have to gather some advanced materials, such as:
- Polymer x20
- Refined Ingot x50
- Cryogenic Coolant x10
- Bio Battery x4
These materials require a variety of resources collected throughout the game.
Crafting the Material
To craft 1 Pal Metal Ingot, you’ll need:
- 4 Ore
- 2 Paldium Fragments
- 1 Pure Quartz
When all three items are gathered, unlock the Electric Furnace at level 44. This furnace needs electricity to function; hence, ensure that there is power in your base. With the electric furnace constructed, you just place the three items in the furnace and have a Pal with Kindling work suitability use the furnace. You will then be able to craft the item.
Best Pals to Farm for Pal Metal Ingots
If you’re looking to collect Pal Metal Ingots more quickly, defeating certain Pals is another great option. The following Pals have a 100% chance to drop them when defeated:
- Astegon
- Shadowbeak
- Paladius
- Necromus
These Pals naturally spawn in a few different regions, but some areas are much better than others if your goal is to farm Pal Metal Ingots efficiently. If your main goal is to stock up on Pal Metal Ingots, No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary (-666, -119) is easily the best region to farm thanks to its combination of high spawn rates and good Pal density.
