How to Unlock Timeworn Wayfarer
The Timeworn Wayfarer can be obtained by participating in the Episode: Echoes activities and collecting Pale Heart Engrams. Take the engrams to the War Table to get a random chance of obtaining the Timeworn Wayfarer
PvE God Roll for Timeworn Wayfarer
- Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling/ Smallbore/ Polygonal Rifling.
- Mag: Appended Mag/ Flared Magwell
- Perk 1: Heal Clip/ Desperate Measures
- Perk 2: Incandescent/ Fourth Time’s the Charm
- Origin Trait: Radiolaria Transposer
- Mods: Icarus Grip/ Backup Mag
Smallbore is a well rounded barrel that offers moderate Stability and Range. Polygonal Rifling offers maximum stability, and if you use this you can go for Flared Magwell for its high reload speed. Corkscrew Rifling offers a little bit of each, but you might to use better weapon mods like Icarus Grip to compensate for whatever is lost. The appended mag will add extra magazine slots if you are not using the Backup Mag
Heal Clip and Incandescent is a great combo with the Timeworn Wayfarer. Not only will it provide healing, but you can also apply scorch to tougher combatants. Or go for Desperate Measures for bonus damage while Fourth Time’s the Charm returns ammo back to your weapon
PvP God Roll for Timeworn Wayfarer
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling/ Fluted Barrel
- Mag: Accurized Rounds/ Extended Mag
- Third column: Keep Away/ Dual Loader
- Fourth column: Precision Instrument/ Eye of the Storm
- Origin Trait: Radiolaria Transposer
- Mods: Icarus Grip/ Backup Mag
If you just want range and will compensate with stability and recoil by using Icarus Grip and a Masterwork, then use Hammer Forged Rifling since it only offers high range. Or else go for Fluted Barrel for extra increase in handling and greater increase in stability. While in PvP, you will be looking for more range, which is taken care of by Accurized Rounds. Or you can go for Extended Mag if you are more of a close combat player, as it offers increased airborne speed and magazine slots at the cost of reload speed.
Backup Mag with Extended Mag works well to add more ammo, hence reducing the need for reloading often. Or you can add it as a Masterwork if you really need to work with it. As for perks, Dual Loader and Precision Instrument should be your go to for additional reload slot and precision damage. Or else go for Keep Away and Eye of the Storm for added accuracy
