To start crafting and farming iron, just follow the steps below
- Use an Earth Kiln to craft Charcoal
- Take the Charcoal to the Grinder to get Carbon Powder
- Next, visit the Ancient Ruins Dungeon, Guardian: Plunderer/Ruin Guard
- While this dungeon is great for farming copper, you would rather need to make your way to the end of the dungeon
- At the end of the dungeon, you have to unlock the door to fight the mechanical enemies within
- They have a chance to drop metal chunks, metal parts, and metal plates
- The chests within this area also have a chance of dropping coal, which is required to ignite the furnace
- Head back to your base and make your way to the Furnace.
- To craft one Iron Ingot, you require 1x Carbon Powder combined with 2x of either Iron Ore, Metal Part, Metal Plate, or Metal Chunk
- If you want Iron Ore, you should make your way to the Guardian Claw Tribe Iron Ore mine found on the north side of the map.
- Be careful as this is the desert biome, and if you are not properly equipped to deal with the heat and cold, then this area isn’t for you
