To own an Alpaca mount, you need to get the crias or baby Alpaca from enemy settlements. The earliest enemy settlement you can visit is the Barbarian Barracks. This settlement is good for early gameplay and also it is located close to your initial spawn base. Make your way over to any of the Barbarian Barracks nearby and defeat all the enemies before they can call for support. Then take a look at the animal crates to find the ciras. Just walk up to a cria and pick it up, then head home
Next, you need to build a feeder and a water bowl so your Alpaca can eat and grow. You can keep it in a shack so it won’t run away. Once it is grown, get a saddle from the Knowledge and Technology tree. The Alpaca saddle can be found under Dawn of the New Tribe, after unlocking the Leather Gear section. Now you can use the saddle on your Alpaca and use the Alpaca mount.
