Ancient Swordsman’s Inscription Locations in Genshin Impact 4.4- Explained
As you progress through Chenyu Vale, you will eventually get that this area has hidden missions that you should complete to get some valuable items. The Ancient Swordsman’s Inscription mission is the same. This mission has no definite prompt to follow, but it will take you to find five pierced swords that were left behind by rather eccentric figures. Being a hidden mission, the locations won’t be found easily on the map. They require lots of effort to be acquired.
The game has five swords to complete the mission and you will have to find them one by one to complete it. Below we have listed the locations of the swords:
- Ancient Swordman’s Inscriptions I: This one will be found as you enter the Wangshan Hall while completing the Hidden Hero quest. Once you reach the end of the hall, you will find the sword buried in the ground. Interact with the chest to read the inscription. You will get a common chest as the reward.
- Ancient Swordman’s Inscriptions II: It will be found at Mt. Xuanlian, across the mountaintop pavilion. Players can glide to the location from the Waypoint. Interact with it to get the reward.
- Ancient Swordman’s Inscriptions III: This sword will be found buried in a cliff in Yaodie Valley. This will be found buried between a tree and a rock. Interacting with it will give you an Exquisite Chest.
- Ancient Swordman’s Inscriptions IV: Make your way to the Chiwang Terrace and you will find the sword on top of a nearby mountain. This sword is rock-made and looks like a sword statue. Finding this one will give you a Precious Chest.
- Ancient Swordman’s Inscriptions V: Finding this sword requires you to go to the north of Chizhang Wall. You have to climb the peak of the mountain and you will see an Ancient Timber. It doesn’t even look like a sword, but that’s what you need to complete the mission. Interacting with the timber will give you a Luxurious Chest.
