To get the legendary Rocket Launcher schematic, you need to find and defeat the Alpha Jetragon Pal. This is a level 50 Field Boss that can be located in coordinates -784, -325, which will take you to the Obsidian Mountain area. At the northwestern corner of the volcanic region is the Alpha Jetragon location. Before venturing out here, it is best to bring along some heat resistant armor. Since this is a level 50 boss, you need to bring the best weapons in your collection. You would have unlocked the Pump Action Shotgun and Assault Rifle by now, so bring those along. Also, Pals that are Ice type can work in defeating the Dragon type Jetragon. Ultra Spheres and Legendary Spheres are the only types of Spheres that will help contain the Jetragon if you wish to bring it to your base.
Defeating or capturing the Alpha Jetragon will help in getting the legendary Rocket Launcher schematic. If you don’t get it the first time, you can always wait for 1 hour real time, as all Alpha Bosses respawn after an hour. Fight the Alpha Jetragon again to get the drop. Once you unlock the schematic, make your way to the Weapon Assembly Line II to start crafting the Rocket Launcher. Below are all the materials required for crafting.
