During the mission Frostbite, you need to kill 50 zombies and also kill 5 Mimics with the Frost Blast Field Upgrade. Finding zombies is easy and you can quickly complete the first part of the mission, but finding Mimics can be a bit difficult. You need to first unlock the Frost Blast Field Upgrade by getting a certain amount of kills and leveling up. Once you have it unlocked, load into the map with the Field Upgrade equipped. There are two objectives you need to clear, and one of them is to find Mimics. There are two ways you can find and hunt down Mimics during this mission. The first option you will get is to find Zone 1 Infested Strongholds on the map. They are usually marked so you can head over there quickly using a vehicle.

Once you find an Infested Stronghold, you need to defeat all the zombies in and around the area first. Once you make your way inside, you have to shoot all the orange orbs to stop the poison gas from spreading. You can find the orange orbs on the walls and floors of the different floors inside the building. Once all the orbs are cleared and the zombies are dead, the Mimic will spawn. If you can’t find the Mimic, then explore the vicinity to find it. If you still cannot spot the Mimic, then probably it is disguised as a purple chest. You need to unlock all the purple chests within the area, as one of them is a decoy. If found, the Mimic will suddenly appear and charge at you.

Now all you have to do is use the Frost Blast on it and kill it. You need to do this 5 times with 5 different Mimics, so rinse and repeat the above steps. For the second method, Mimics can also be found in Zone 2, and they spawn along with the zombies. But the zombies here are really tough to beat, so if you are capable enough, you can jump right into Zone 2 infested strongholds and defeat the Mimics there. You don’t have to wait for it to appear in Zone 2, as they will quickly rush to you when they spot you.
