If you want to get your hands on some Legendary armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker, two pieces you can get are the Ambrus’s Cuirass and the Isbrand’s Greaves. While Legendary gear is not that easy to find, these two can be obtained rather early on. In this guide, we’ve covered everything you’ll need to know to get these legendary armors.
How to Get Isbrand’s Greaves

| Stat | Value |
| Level | 16 |
| Claw Damage | +7.6% |
| Vampiric Ability Cooldown | -5% |
| Damage against Mortals | +7.6% |
| Claw Critical Hit Damage | +7.6% |

Isbrand’s Greaves is an easily obtainable piece of Legendary armor acquired from a chest located in the Kobolds’s Nest located below Rockfalls. It requires a long run to reach the area, and you will have to encounter numerous Kobolds there.

You can either defeat the enemies or sneak past them to reach the chest, which is positioned beside a wall. You will be able to get the Greaves once you successfully open the chest.
For stealth, stay near the wall and use the bush nearby as cover while retreating. You can also consider using wall-crawl for going out without engaging the Kobolds.
How to Get Ambrus’s Cuirass

| Stat | Value |
| Level | 12 |
| Vampire Ability Cooldown | -3.9% |
| Attack Stamina Cost | -11. 8% |
| Activation Charge Restoration from Attack | +12% |
| Activation Charge Restoration from Perfect Block | +12% |
You can get Ambrus’s Cuirass by killing Ambrus, one of the key vampires that you come across in Court. Killing Ambrus is one of the first objectives you get after you gain access to free roam.
To fight Ambrus, you need to complete his branching side quests until he gets angry. Eventually, this path will lead to his main mission called Gilded Gauntlet. At that moment, accept the Gilded Gauntlet mission, fight Ambrus, and kill him. After this fight, you will receive Ambrus’s Cuirass as your reward.
Note: Defeating Ambrus is quite easy as you’ll mainly need to block his attacks and defend yourself. Attack him with your sword every time you see an opening for an easier fight.
Which One Is Easier to Get?
The two pieces require different approaches. Isbrand’s Greaves are obtained through exploration, and you can completely avoid fighting the Kobolds if you use stealth. The main drawback is the long journey to the Kobolds Nest and the time required to unlock the chest.
Ambrus’s Cuirass, meanwhile, requires you to progress through Ambrus’s branching side quests, anger him, and then complete the Gilded Gauntlet by defeating him.
So, if you want to pick up an early Legendary armor piece through exploration, Isbrand’s Greaves provide a straightforward option. If you are already working through Ambrus’s Court activities, progressing toward the Gilded Gauntlet can eventually reward you with Ambrus’s Cuirass.
