Sons of the Forest’s patch 12 update brings a new cave location and new items to discover. You can get a new pickaxe, new ores, and a couple of new blueprints. There are artifacts to be found deep within the caves, and there is a new artifact to collect and add to your inventory. If you haven’t found the new cave in Patch 12 yet, then you can check out the location images provided below.
Once you enter the cave, the first item you can pick up is the blueprint for the Enchantment Table. We have an entire guide on where to find the Enchantment Table blueprint in Sons of the Forest Patch 12. We will continue this guide from where you have picked up the blueprint. Beside the blueprint you will find a rope that will take you down. Once you reach the bottom of the cave, follow the path ahead till you reach some wooden crosses.
Go straight ahead and keep to your right side. You will find some hanging skeletons and more wooden crosses At the end of the passage is another rope that will take you further down into the cave.
You will reach an area with metal structures around. Explore the area to find a gold plated platform. There is a shining object on it. Pick it up to get the second artifact.
