While you are in Salacia Plain, make your way to the above location. You will find a building with a Red Barrier, and two locked mechanisms in front of it. First, defeat the Armored Crabs below to gain their ability. Swim to the left side of the Red Barrier building to find a switch. Attack it to activate the switch and the floating ball will start moving. Look below and you will find a boulder with a blue glowing line. Destroy the boulder using the Armored Crab’s ability to start the water current. This will pull the floating ball towards the sphere and complete one part of the puzzle.
Now make your way to the area opposite the red barrier. You will find the floating ball stuck at the bottom and the water current flowing at opposite sides. All you have to do here is to use the Armored Crab’s shield ability and block the current on top of the sphere. This will push the ball from the bottom to the top, landing inside the sphere. After that, make your way towards the barrier and activate the two mechanisms in front of it. You now have access to the room beyond.
